I was craving for some Filipino food so decided to order for carry out here. Lunch combination includes rice with two selections and a bottle of water for 10 dollars and some change. The selections of dishes were limited in comparison to other Filipino restaurants but they still have the staple options. It was my first time here but the lady behind the counter was patience and explained everything to me. The food overall was quite tasty and it definitely hit the hot. I like my garlic rice to taste really garlicky but too bad this was more on the mild side but it was still good nonetheless. I will definitely return to the other options and maybe their halo halo. The restaurant is very small inside with only a few seatings available.

THISSSSS is my kind of hole in the wall spot and neighborhood hidden gem - low-key, unassuming exterior, simple menu, fantastic food and quiet ambiance. My wife and I dropped in for lunch on the weekday after Christmas at around 12pm and, I was a bit surprised at how empty Cusinera was. In fact, not a SINGLE soul walked in during our entire time here, which lasted about 30 minutes. I had seen pictures of this tiny restaurant (and I DO MEAN tiny with about 5-6 tables only) being crowded at times, but I guess everyone was either working or just recovering from their Christmas feasts they just subjected themselves to. At the time that we walked in, there was a single female employee here and she pretty much gave us a run down of what was available to us at the time. The restaurant serves Filipino breakfast entrees all day long, but you can also get a lunch combo too. We both opted for the breakfast, which are served with garlic rice, TWO fried eggs, a small soup and free water/coffee for JUST $10!!! YES, you read that right, just $10 .. in 2024!!! I would absolutely consider that a steal these days. Unfortunately, since it's winter, they did not serve their bubble teas though because I was totally eyeballing the Ube one. Will definitely be back for that. My better half ordered the Tapsilog (Marinated Beef) and I ordered the Longsilog (Sweet Sausage). To say that I've had my fair share of Filipino food in the past is to put it mildly as I used to frequent Woodside Queens on a weekly basis like I lived there and have seeked out many other Filipino restaurants throughout NY/NJ, so I was quite familiar with the deliciousness of a Filipino breakfast. Verdict? EXCELLENNNNNNT. Both breakfast and the meats were delicious. The Tapsilog and Longsilog were so flavorful and tender. The fact that we were given 2 fried eggs in each entree too was very generous because, if my memory serves me correct, I always recalled just receiving 1 egg from other Filipino restaurants for their breakfasts. The garlic rice wasn't the best garlic rice I ever had, but just throw in some of their homemade vinegar, which sits in a giant jar in the corner, and you're golden. And the more vinegar on everything the merrier. Loved that we were able to snag a super quick, super inexpensive, and, most importantly, super DELICIOUS meal and go on with our day all fat and happy. As long as the pricing doesn't change much, I don't see a reason why we won't be back - for dine in or takeout.

Went to satisfy my halo halo crave and lumpia on the side, heavenly pinoy treat combination. Owner is always nice and service is quick, they have been in this corner for awhile and now an icon in this town. Definitely a MUST place to visit when around town.

Tried this place for the first time. I'm not Filipino but a friend introduced me to lumpia years ago and I've been craving it. It's a hole in the wall spot. Nothing fancy, no obvious menu with prices. The lady working was so sweet and helpful. I didn't know anything on the menu besides lumpia and she patiently talked me through each of the options. I ordered chicken adobo (5 stars!), bbq pork on a skewer (5 stars!), garlic rice (5 stars - so good!), and some lumpia (5 stars - I ordered 8 at 50 cents each, I should have ordered more). I'll definitely be coming back to try the other dishes like the tapsilog everyone mentions and I'll likely order catering trays so my friends can try. Highly recommend!

My go-to spot for Filipino food. I was introduced to this place by a friend because of their DELICIOUS lumpia and ever since then, I've been hooked. I love their all-day breakfast combos (a meat dish, 2 eggs, rice, soup upon availability + bottled water for ~$10). Their breakfast combo always fills me up so much, I even skip the next meal sometimes. I've ordered catering for a big party from here and their food was a hit! Interior is very limited in seating and they have dishes made and you just pick and go. It can be overwhelming to order sometimes because they don't really have a menu that lists EVERYTHING. Don't be afraid to ask the ladies working there!

Their food is delicious. They make homemade longanisa that they sell also for you to take home. Their breakfast platters range from $9 up which also includes drinks. Limited seating indoors, and they are not wheelchair accessible. Street parking and additional parking available behind the restaurant. Minimum purchase of $10 if you pay by Credit Card. Very friendly people work here. I will return back and try their lunch selections. I recommend this place in Bergenfield NJ

Went for Breakfast Food - 5/5. The breakfast here is entirely Filipino, which was a nice change of pace from the usual western breakfast. The beef is sweet and savory, the rice is stir-fried well and the egg is a nice over medium. The food is rich and heavy on the oil and I wish they had some palate cleansers like atchara but overall the food is delicious. Service - 4/5. They are very friendly and the food comes out fast. The restaurant is self service and bottled water is usually offered with a meal. Value - 5/5. $7 for a rich breakfast is a great deal. They have many choices of protein as well. A great value! Parking - Parking Lot (Free), Street (Free)
